The Horse Whisperer...

I have burnt arms and a sore bum, but, that's ok... It was all worth it

Yesterday M and I headed out on our bikes to ride in Richmond park. We were going to meet some friends that were having a little picnic out there. After prepping our trusty steeds [M's tyres were flat and I snapped the end off of my valve just before we were "rolling out" and had to walk to a bike shop.... ]

***Jason Donovan is at the counter getting a coffee...lol..***

Well, anyway - yeah, we're riding around the park when I spot this horse trotting across the field all on its own - saddled up - riderless. Then I see a woman, about 900 meters away running after it. Yep - everyone stood looking, nobody did a thing, so, as I do... After it I went on my bike! I got up level with this horse and started making a little bit of noise so she knew I was there, I got that "yeah, I know you're there glance" At that point I reached out and grabbed her reigns and slowed to a stop... What a beautiful horse! We stood there for a minute, she was a bit jumpy... They guys I was riding with caught up and they're like "um, man, what are you doing with a horse?!..." All I could do was dump my bike with M and walk off across Richmond Park in search of my new friends owner. After walking for about a kilometer I heard a feint voice calling after me, the police had dropped off the "dismounted" woman and she was on my tail. A very thankful and shaken up woman, told me that her horse had been spooked by a stag [they roam about in Richmond Park] when it butted the horse... Yeah, i'd be spooked too. Anways, that was my excitement for yesterday.

Come 'ere horsey...

What a hero!

And lol at the Jason Donovan comment. I couldn't remember who he was so I had to look it up..
Wow, do you see many other famous people over there?

Haha I just looked into it more for no good reason. I didn't know he was related to Stephanie McIntosh.. that's cool!

Useless fact of the day brought to you by the letter C.
