Watched "Notes on a scandal" lastnight... Cate Blanchett and Judy Dench... both of them fantastic but maybe the film was a little dark for a lighthearted friday evening. Cate Blanchett reminded me of a friend of mine - weird, they look not a lot alike (blonde / brunette) but there was something... not sure what it was, anyway.

Just had a haircut, about time... had shaggy dog syndrome thing going on... woof, innit.

Sitting in my local typing this, got me a 3G wireless card for my mac... works a treat... a bit geeky? makes me able to connect from almost anywher.e. grand.

i'm really looking forward to doing nothing today... but i'm not sure that's going to happen... I have chores to do and apparently people to see this afternoon... should be a FUN day...
