Started my day with one of my elderly clients looking for her address book. She has two address books on her computer, the one in her email program and another, in pdf, that she has kept since the dawn of time... Once upon a time she printed it out and so today, mid flap about it being lost, she brought out her printed copy to show me incase it helped to find it. The printed copy was loose leaf and loked a lot like something that had been printed out just after the doors of noahs ark were closed. Well, we found her address book and she wanted to learn how to modify a few entries... so we went through it and looked up a few contacts - what really hit me was when she went a bit quiet and I turned to lok at her, she had a sad face on and was going through her contacts one at a time, "DEAD".....and this one, "DEAD".... another one, "Oh, she's alive, he's "DEAD"... she said the word DEAD with such contrast and it somehow sounded so final, which I guess it is... but it was a sad moment, like she expected to be amongst these people at some stage, soon. Life can be taken so suddenly.

You absolute b*st*rd. Stop making me feel sad!
Even though I don't know this woman that well, it was a weird moment... Just a feeling of ...the end - hmm... can't explain it.
All gotta go at some point I guess, but when you get towards the twighlight of your life, it becomes more real as you could be the next one. Hard to imagine what that will feel like...
I reckon I know what it will feel like...
