301st post and i'm complainin' again!

Then you wave goodbye..
Well, look at me go! I'm actually out of bed and am contemplating cleaning the bathroom. Michelle has gone shopping somewhere -cancel the credit cards-
Is g+t an old mans drink?
Is doing 153hrs overtime wrong (in two weeks)
Is there light at the end of your tunnel?

Light at the end....
Yeah, so... can finally see a glimpse of something at the end of this extremely large tunnel... this soiled, computer stained tunnel... So, food, transport and other stuff later - we are closer to done than we have been.. A few teething problems, but relatively smooth (if you call 200 sets of permission worries smooth) So, with help from the gallery (pic attached) this is what we ended up with... (geek alert)
5 x HP 5406zl chassis (CX4 joined / fibre between floors)
Cat 6e throughout, GB to desktop, Avaya voip phones on each desk...
.....zzzzzzzzzzz
WHO CARES!?.... It works....
bzzzzt.... hello?... helllo?.... hmmmmmm
Today we're leaving town....
So much has happened since then... Time goes on, people change. But do we really change as people? I'd say we do, I have.
Hey, Jealousy...
Tell me do you think it'd be alright If I could Just crash here tonight AS you see I'm in no shape for drivin' And any way I 've got no place to go And you know it might not be that bad You were the best I ever had I hadn't blown the whole thing years ago I might no be alone Tomorrow we can drive around this town And let the cops chase us around The past is gone but something might be found to take it's place Hey jealousy Hey jealousy Hey Jealousy Hey Jealousy
One of my fave songs of all time!... Well, there you go.. sing it out loud.
So, the move is almost complete and life can return to normal... well, as normal as life gets!... My little brother was beaten up last week by some weak bastard that hit him from behind... "a jealous ex-boyfriend" ...you wouldn't hit my little brother from the front, you wouldn't live... anyway, he's ok, but I do hope the police find the bastard before my other little brothers mates do... (never cross a Maori)
So, that as well as me working 153 hours of overtime in two weeks (go work that out...) had me at a bit of a low last week, but we are getting there.. nice new offices and shiny buzzing things... well worth it!
I have decided to try my hand at "contrast blasting" the results are below.
Press any key to boot from cd....
....Well, things didn't go so well, so 15 cd's and about 4 litres of coffee, a pizza, and 1.5litres of coke later (liquid, not line) I am installing 2003svr again... what a FUN night!... I am just wild...
WILD I TELL YOU!
The light out the window is awesome... warm looking, even though it is cold out there.
There is a security guy hovering around... he annoys me, i'm sure he's just bored but I don't want to talk to anyone this mornin'... I am upto "Lost Prophets" and am on the earl grey, darling... Windows is going to take approximately 34 minutes of my life to install - 34 minutes I wont get back, 34 minutes I could spend doing something MUCH more productive... instead, I have to be content to sit here and watch the little blue bar scroll along whilst some "interesting and informative" text scrolls about aimlessly... "the windows 2003 blah blah revolutionary...blah blah"...
...anyway, getting on with it!
why don't we just go to the beach and just have fun... 818....beep...713....beeep.... CALL ME BACK!...
Service Packed....
Sat here installing SP2 on my BES... about as much fun as nailing your eye shut. So the last couple of weeks have seen some really REALLY odd / challenging times... people leaving, new people... lots of stuff... anyway, i'm still in good spirits.... Anyways, while I wait for SP2 to install i'm going to wander around the office and try take some ODD pictures...
Laters.

We're never gunna win the war...
Still here! YAY!..I hear you all cry (all 3 of you!) ...Things have gone (are going) not so well. We had our new £70k HP switches decide to reset this morning / lastnight and set all of the defaults to "no" which means just that... "pc says I want internet... switch says no"
So we are soldiering on with ....and at this point, everything went crazy.
back later.
the sky is red...
...it's 505am. still sat here in front of my three screens tapping away, currently trying to exmerge lots of other peoples mail, mail that they never read and keep just because they're too important to delete it. I am still listening to the same music as I was lastnight - the Cure, wish.. impossible things... thats 5am for ya
Coffee is rubbish and I can not wait for the polish cafe to open - mentorn are buying me breakfast, no question. I will sleep at some point, but not in the next 24hrs...
Here is the lyric... do with it what you must
"To Wish Impossible Things"
remember how it used to be
when the sun would fill up the sky
remember how we used to feel
those days would never end
those days would never end
remember how it used to be
when the stars would fill the sky
remember how we used to dream
those nights would never end
those nights would never end
it was the sweetness of your skin
it was the hope of all we might have been
that fills me with the hope to wish
impossible things
but now the sun shines cold
and all the sky is grey
the stars are dimmed by clouds and tears
and all i wish
is gone away
all i wish
is gone away
all i wish
is gone away...
morning!
Remember how it used to be....
Started packing the office today, sad times... lots of good memories, some not so good memories and some horror. You find old stuff that reminds you of people you used to know, some you liked, some you didn't... some, well...
I can't take a picture and post, as it's the first time since christmas I have not had a camera on me, but it's probably best to cut the ties and make a new, fresh start.
e finishes tomorrow which is the saddest thing. He has been a great friend and a good sensible voice of reason and a right pain in the arse all at the same time. I will miss him
The new building is a clean fresh start (don't worry Vin, i'll take you with us) but does it make things better?... will the two children play nicely together?... I have a nice desk and my hifi - that's what matters, right?
Feeling pretty melancholy right now, listening to the cure, e has just left with L and I am staying back to sort things... have thrown out a pile of rubbish the local council tip would shy away from. hope the cleaners have strong hearts tomorrow morning.
so, to wish impossible things, it will all go smoothly and i'll be back on the happy bus next week... till then...
till then... indeed

Give us this day our daily flickR
So, over there on the right you can see MelanColie84, one of my flickR contacts. I choose a picture from my contacts daily uploads to feature on here, and today is her day.. two in a row! loved the swimming one, thanks MelanColie84... very cool
Tyrrell-Tastic...
Pasky offered me some "Hand fried vegetable chips" made by Tyrells These tasty chips are a combination of Natural beetroot, parsnip and carrot all which has been hand fried and lightly sea salted. Right, so these guys (and girls!) take their chips pretty seriously. The place is run by Will, the owner, you can read his story, met the team and check out all the products on the website HERE
So, My verdict reads like this... Go buy a packet of these little rippers today. Great chips, great company (by the looks of it, not met them all!) and enjoy them... i'd post a picture of the ones we had here, but they're all gone...

one of those moods...
Yeah, so I get hayfever (yes, i'm rambling.. so bugger off now or sit down and shut up)..oh, and i'm in a bad mood... (hayfever!) So, beck is singing to me and i'm enjoying it (doesn't happen often) so, something must be wrong... I get in these odd moods every now and then, this is one of them, `i'm hungry but I dont know what I want to eat, i'm aching but I can't pin point where, i'm annoyed and I have no idea why... but, you get that? right?..Hayfever, I get it bad enough that it makes me want to break my nose in the hope that I could drag out the bad itchy particles (well, what would you call them?!) Right... food
Something.
Back later...
LATER... SO, Lucy, have you finished your coffee yet? (A picture I took a while back, just saw it in an old section I don't visit any more and thought i'd bring her back out into the sunlight...

Flowers?...[naturespixel]
(spotted on a friends website)
"The Liliaceae, or the Lily Family, is a family of monocotyledons in the order Liliales. Plants in this family have linear leaves, mostly with parallel veins, and flower parts in threes.
Many plants in the Liliaceae are important ornamental plants, widely grown for their attractive flowers. Most of the genera are poisonous if eaten. A floral pattern said to be based on a lily or lily-like flower is used in heraldry; see Fleur-de-lis"

New MBP's hit the streets..
So, a month after I bought my 2.33 MacBookPro (15") the new faster ones come out.. bound to happen!
Mac Says:
"The latest and greatest
MacBook Pro is built on the revolutionary Intel Core 2 Duo — which packs the power of two processor cores (up to 2.4GHz) inside a single chip. It provides 4MB of Smart Cache, L2 cache that can be shared between the cores as needed. It delivers higher performance in 2D and 3D graphics, video editing, and music encoding. But the faster engine is only part of the story. MacBook Pro delivers up to 4GB of 667MHz DDR2 memory with a faster, 800MHz frontside bus and support for hard drives up to 250GB. Ultimate speed, performance, and connectivity. To go. That’s MacBook Pro."
I say:
"Bugger"
Kev* will say:
"It's a Mac! Why do you want one of those evil things!"
MacDonalds v's Nestle
So, usual fair (which isn't often, mind) is A large BigMac meal (no ice in the Coke) and two cheese burgers.. Now, I'll usually eat that whilst walking... but, on the other hand, I have just eaten 3 two finger "White Chocolate" "Ground baby" KitKats...(yes Kev*, I know they kill children?) ...what's worse?...(and NO, i've NEVER seen a BigMac that looks like the one to the left!...)
Spotted in Brighton....

KitKat... one of my downfalls
Imitation...
Was looking through someones blog recently and noticed that he/she was posting (within hours) the same content as me, not copying my posts, but the content was very similar or in a lot of cases the same. I wonder if said person will complain that I copy his/her posts...
Edit: I wonder what makes a person copy?.. for example, I have exactly that same (pretty much) camera gear as my mate... but I did't really copy.. I found stuff I liked that did what I wanted it to do... does that mean I copied?.. I guess I did
Edit: Who REALLY cares?
Excited, me?...
