Get rid of your OLD COMPUTERS CORRECTLY!

Hi Simon,

Many thanks for your time on the phone; I have attached some information on Maxitech I hope will prove valuable in securing a partnership.

Maxitech.biz is a not-for-profit organisation providing a socially responsible solution. We have been the recipient of several industry awards including ITV's Young Business Person of the Year and Haringey's Cleanest Business Award.

As a company we recycle redundant IT equipment (through various charity organisations) and offer training and development skills to the unemployed. Maxitech offers large social returns and through our company’s initiatives we can help build on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

We are currently working with the Mayor of London, Ken Livingstone to raise computers for older disadvantaged people in London. Here is a video of the Mayor appealing for computers on ITV news: http://www.maxitech.biz/computersforolderpeople/news.html

Additionally, we are the only UK organisation to reach the final of the BBC World Challenge for organisations giving back to the community. This is a link where you can watch a video about us that was shown on BBC world and BBC news 24: http://www.theworldchallenge.co.uk/silicon.php

We have already conducted joint projects collecting, refurbishing and donating redundant IT equipment for several large organisations including Local Authorities, High Street Banks, Investment Banks, Retailers and Pharmaceuticals leading to articles in the Guardian, FT, Daily Telegraph and other leading magazines and papers.

As company we overlook many businesses that deal with sensitive material (as mentioned above) thus destruction of data is forte of ours. We meet the standard of the U.S Department of Defense and furthermore offer physical destruction techniques, examples include - Incineration, Shredding and a Hydraulic press machine (also see http://www.maxitech.biz/).

Recent awards Maxitech have been recipient to include the ISO 14001 - recognizes the firm’s environmental programme, commitment to sustainability and zero per cent landfill policy. The firm was also awarded the ISO 9001, which is held by only 3 per cent of UK businesses and recognises investment in people/training and high quality customer service.

This would be an excellent opportunity for you to resolve any redundant IT equipment problems (in working order or not) and generate excellent PR in terms of increasing your Social Responsibility.

For any further queries, please do not hesitate to contact me.
